“Being initiated into the Himalayan Tradition of Yoga Meditation by Swami Veda Bharati, I have become familiar with practicing hatha with awareness of the asanas’ effect on mind, breath and body. Yet it is something even beyond that to hear how these asanas were used in ancient times and best of all– Amma’s direct comments on them.” — Janice Englund, Port Murray NJ

“I’m continuing to enjoy the book very much. I love the personal insights mingled with Amma’s teachings and wisdom. It’s a lot to absorb, think about and incorporate and I imagine that I will be re-reading portions of this inspired and inspiring book for many years to come.” — Geeta Agerwala, White Plains NY

Sri Yoga

The mission of Sri Yoga is to serve humanity by pursuing a sincere inquiry into the study of Yoga as a sacred science of final spiritual liberation, or mokṣa.  To educate as best as possible about the esoteric nature of the practice and the need to honor the living prehistoric tradition of Yoga as an invaluable source of light and wisdom for ourselves, our families, and our global society.
